Friends leave. You will never be friends with someone for the rest of your life. That's just how it is. Cherish the friends you have, but let go of them when it's time. It sucks. You'll feel lonely and you will mourn their loss. But just as they move on, so must you. Friendships will not last.

some friendships can last. my mom's best friends have been close to her for 30 years! My mom's best friend is my God-mother and they have always been super tight. It's just a matter of finding a close knit understanding of one another and having the friendship bound in Christ!

it's not that no friendships last, just that not all of them do. but they can. i've had the same best friend since kindergarten.
